Mrs. Glynn

Mary is a graduate of Herron School of Art and Design. She is the former art teacher of Stony Creek Elementary School, and has over 25 years of experience teaching artists of all ages! Mary is particularly skilled in helping the young artist to produce high-quality, elegant pieces in a developmentally appropriate manner.

Katie is the art teacher at Carey Ridge Elementary School in Westfield. In 2015, Katie was awarded the Arts for Learning Arts Champion Award for her excellence in art teaching. A highly experienced teacher, Katie has taught both elementary school (which she teaches currently) and high school, the latter of which she taught for over 20 years. Katie is particularly interested in teaching not only the conventional, foundational artistic techniques, but also various distinct techniques that a student might not otherwise encounter in a traditional art curriculum.

This summer, Katie will teach the Young Artist Intensives.
