FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the behavioral policy?

Parents must agree to the following…

I understand that if my child reaches the level of a behavioral emergency (e.g. deliberately hurting another child, persistently and deliberately distracting classmates, etc.), my child will be asked to leave the class and NO FEES WILL BE REFUNDED. I understand that age-appropriate behavioral idiosyncrasies are understood and can be accommodated, but persistent and intentional behavioral outbursts will not be tolerated.

If this is a concern, do not register your child for class or camp. If your child must be warned more than once, they will be asked to leave and the tuition, materials, and registration fees will not be refunded.

How do I register for camp?

This year, the registration process is different from that of previous years.

First, please fill out the online application. If your application is accepted, Sophie will contact you via email with the registration materials that you will then print out and mail (along with your check) to the following address:

ATTN: ART BY SPARTZ

Artisan Acres Estate

1503 N 10th St

Noblesville, IN 46060

Your materials and check must be postmarked within two weeks of submitting your initial online application. Failure to do so means that your spot is no longer guaranteed.

After we receive all of your documents and your check clears, you will receive an email notification that your registration is complete. Congratulations!

what about the check?

After paying the online registration fee, make a check payable to Sophie Spartz in the following amount:

  • For Chinese Folk Art—write the check for $300.

  • For European Folk Art—write the check for $300.

  • If you wish to enroll in both camps or register multiple children, please contact Sophie to discuss discounts.

WHERE ARE HOMESCHOOL CLASSES HELD? May I observe class?

Homeschool classes are held in my home (just a few minutes west of the Noblesville Square). Parents are welcome to come to the first few class sessions, but after that, I ask that parents leave while class is in session in order to minimize distractions. Secure drop-off and pick-up protocol will be discussed before classes begin.

I have another question that is not on this list. where can i go for answers?

Please submit your question to me here.
