Included in ceremony services:

• Consultation with you about what music you would like played at your ceremony.

• Attendance at your rehearsal.

• Playing during guest arrival at the ceremony location (e.g. Bach Cello Suites).*

• Playing at the ceremony itself.

• Contingency plans for rain.

• Professional attire. 

*If booking a duet or trio, one musician can play at the fountain during guest arrival while the other musician(s) play(s) at the ceremony location, if that is what you desire. This is included for no additional cost.

If it rains during guest arrival, I can play under the covered part of the dance floor at the back of the Grand Little Barn. If it rains during the ceremony, I will play under a large umbrella-like structure. This is because I can’t play on wet strings.

Because I am the in-house cellist for Artisan Acres Estate, I will make all potential wedding dates available for the upcoming season (i.e. I will not book outside gigs on any Artisan wedding dates). Please submit your payment no later than 45 days before your wedding; after that point, I may not be able to reserve your date anymore.

I have a Fountain + Cocktail Hour Package for $750. This means that I will play at the fountain during guest arrival before the ceremony and then during the cocktail hour.

Due to the layout of the venue and time considerations, I am unable to play as a soloist at both the fountain and the ceremony. This is because ceremony musicians play during guest arrival at the ceremony location, which is the same time that I would play at the fountain. If you would like both of these covered, you need to book at least two instrumentalists so one can cover guest arrival at the ceremony location. I work with another cellist and violinist, so we can arrange a string duet or trio for your ceremony if you would like both the fountain and ceremony covered.

Due to the layout of the venue and time considerations, I am unable to play as a soloist at both the ceremony and cocktail hour in most cases. However, if your ceremony is at the barn, this may be feasible.

If your ceremony is at the Oak Tree and you would like both ceremony and cocktail hour covered, you could book one instrumentalist for the ceremony and a duet or trio for the cocktail hour; that way, one instrumentalist can begin playing as guests walk back to the barn, and the ceremony instrumentalist can join them a few minutes later.

Yes. There may be pockets of the reception in which string music would be fitting, e.g. during dinner. Please let me know if you are interested in this and we can discuss if this might be possible.
